Networking? Think Carefully About Your Business Card Choices

What is your business card say about you?

Many small businesses and start ups networking events as the first marketing activities. This is a good step, it is often cheap, the confidence of the promotion and a chance to meet other like-minded people.

But many start-ups with limited resources and often neglect the most important thing when going to a networking event.

If your most important marketing activities is networking then yourmost important marketing tool has got to be your calling card.

If you can not make a brochure or other pressures, it is important that your business card: everything you need to give it to people you meet passport.

Here are some tips;

Invest in the best quality cards you can possibly afford. If you do not spend money on yourself and your company, why should anyone else care about it?

Free gift cards or discounted supporton the back of ads may not seem like a good idea to do but.

Use both sides of the card, it will not cost much more, and you can give 100% more of your message.

Do not add cute or silly slogans on your card. Your card should make it clear what you are doing and how you can help.

Put basic contact information – names and e-mail – but you have your mailing address.

People are unlikely to book your services in writing to you, and your phone number and address numbers is a magnet for the periodSpendthrift.

You should map to reflect what you are doing. If you're a designer, then a card you have with Microsoft Publisher and clip art will not convince the people that you pay a good designer. Remember, if you have a network connection, your business card is your premier marketing tool.

If you do graphics or logos, make sure you know the difference between web quality and print quality and make sure that the permission to use photos or artWork.

Of course, now that you all, you will be able to make the same mistakes that others may have made on the spot. If this is the case, it would be extremely unprofessional to draw attention to it.

"Oh, Cheapy printer in the High Street bargain offers. I saw that but decided it looked too plain and boring"
